This is disgusting,

The Administration’s response to issues of sexual harassment issues just YESTERDAY:

Yale “has strong and effective policies and procedures in place now to address sexual harassment and other sexual misconduct. All students with concerns or complaints are strongly urged to come forward by the university and receive the support and guidance that is available around the clock. Twice a year we put out a report of all complaints received from students and how they were addressed. We don’t know of any other school that does that. A union of graduate students would not make Yale any more diligent and responsive on this issue than it already is on behalf of all students. We scrupulously follow the guidance and the directives of the federal government to meet the requirements of Title IX.”

Basically we know about it, we’re taking statistics, we’re still not doing enough to prevent it anyway.
Please share and make sure future female students are aware of this, they need to be warned that Yale will not look out for them.

Thirty years ago it was practically unheard of for a major African American publication and an African American trans woman to work together. That is unless you're JET Magazine and Ajita Wilson.  Wilson, a transgender woman who completed her transition in the mid 1970s, was an actress with an international cult following for her work in foreign films.

She would later become a JET Beauty of the Week, appearing in the magazine’s 1981 August 20th issue. That may make her possibly the first trans woman to hold that distinction.
